COMPARAÇÃO

São possíveis três tipos de comparação: ao mesmo grau; a um grau superior; a um grau inferior.

Ao mesmo grau - comparativo de igualdade John is as tired as Jill A um grau superior - comparativo de superioridade ou superlativo relativo de superioridade Jill is more tired than John Jill is the most tired person A um grau inferior - comparativo de inferioridade ou superlativo relativo de inferioridade Jill is less tired than John Jill is the least tired person

As comparações podem ser formadas adicionando -er, -est ao final de um adjectivo, ou utilizando more / less than ou the most / the least.
