Common, Ordinary

1 COMMON significa comum, vulgar ou frequente. No sentido depreciativo ⁽¹⁾, significa grosseiro, ordinário:

• Maria is a very common name is Portugal.
  Maria é um nome muito comum em Portugal.

  Temos muitas coisas em comum.

2 ORDINARY significa normal, usual, habitual ou comum:

  Não há nada de especial sobre nós. Somos apenas duas pessoas comuns.
