Voz Passiva

voz passiva (passive voice) forma-se da seguinte maneira:
BE + PAST PARTICIPLE
onde BE=verbo auxiliar (ser/estar)
e PAST PARTICIPLE=verbo principal no particípio passado (pp)


Exemplos:


Present Simpleam/is/are + (pp)

• Books are sold here.
• Aqui vendem-se livros.

Present Continuousam/is/are being + (pp)

• The car is being repaired.
• O carro está a ser reparado.

Present Perfect Simplehas/have been + (pp)

• The car has been stolen.
• O carro foi roubado.

Past Simplewas/were + (pp)

• She was arrested yesterday.
• Ela foi presa ontem.

Past Continuouswas/were being + (pp)

• The car was being repaired.
• O carro estava a ser reparado.

Past Perfect Simplehad been + (pp)

• The car had been stolen.
• O carro tinha sido roubado.

Future Simplewill be + (pp)

• The parcel will be delivered.
• O embrulho será entregue.

Future Perfect Simplewill have been + (pp)

• All the documents will have been
signed
by Friday.
• Todos os documentos serão
assinados até sexta-feira.

Future going toam/is/are going to be + (pp)

• The problem is going to be solved.
• O problema será resolvido.

Modals (present)can/could/may/etc. be + (pp)

• What you are asking can be done.
• O que estás a pedir pode ser feito.

Modals (past)can/could/may/etc. have been + (pp)

• He could have been killed.
• Ele poderia ter sido morto.

Infinitiveto be + (pp)

• The job needs to be done.
• O trabalho precisa-se de ser feito.



2 Os tempos verbais seguintes são raramente empregues na voz passiva devido à falta de boa sonância:

Present Perfect Continuoushas/have been being + (pp)
Past Perfect Continuoushad been being + (pp)
Future Continuouswill be being + (pp)
Future Perfect Continuouswill have been being + (pp)
